IJF delighted to announce Sue Durcan joins the Board of Trustees.

by IJF |  26 Apr 2020

The IJF is delighted to announce the recent addition of Sue Durcan to the Board of Trustees.  Lisa Hancock, Chief Executive explained: “Sue will be a fantastic addition to our existing Board. We always aim to appoint individuals with a specific skill-set from which we can benefit and Sue’s detailed understanding and knowledge of the flat racing community and, in particular, the Newmarket community, will be very helpful to us.  Since Peter O’Sullevan House opened last autumn, we have been even more active in the Newmarket area than before.  Even now we are able to offer regular remote physiotherapy, Strength and Conditioning and nutrition consultations to the jockeys requiring support.”

Sue, who previously worked for Simon Crisford, supports her husband Ted in their highly regarded bloodstock business and has first-hand experience of the pressures faced by jockeys both whilst riding and in their subsequent careers.
