MSK PHYSIOTHERAPIST (Band 6/7)

IJF Oaksey House, Lambourn, Berkshire


The Injured Jockeys Fund rehabilitation centre at Oaksey House, Lambourn, is seeking a highly motivated MSK Physiotherapist to join our small, dynamic team.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity to work with the Injured Jockeys Fund team, where we specialise in elite sports injury and complex trauma rehabilitation, as well as running our own outpatients clinic.

A comprehensive understanding of sports injury is required, combined with a strong team-working ethos and professional grounding. MCSP/HCPC is essential and NHS experience would be an advantage.

This full-time Band 6/7 role commences September 2018 on a fixed term contract (maternity cover) and offers a salary circa £28 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience (minimum 5 years). Appointment is subject to full DBS checks and references.

Temporary Administrator/Receptionist

Fixed term until mid-October 2018 (37.5 hour week) based at IJF Oaksey House, Lambourn, Berkshire

Specific duties:

To support team at Oaksey House in  the day to day running of the office

General receptionsit duties to include:

Receiving visitors

Dealing with enquiries

Making appointments

Taking phone calls

Scanning documents onto the clinical system

Filing paper records

Take notes of meetings

To undertake any general administrative tasks to suport the therapists

Essential

Computer literate – email, Word, Excel

Well developed interpersonal skills - telephone and face to face

Enthusiastic and flexible in approach 

Friendly and approachable manner

Desirable

Previous experience of working in a similar environment (min 5 years)

An interest or understanding of the racing industry
