Without the generosity of our enthusiastic supporters namely yourselves, the IJF would be unable to continue to maintain its commitment to assisting injured jockeys. Each year we pay out almost £1.5m in medical fees, grants and other charitable expenses.

To make a donation to the Injured Jockey's Fund and support our beneficiaries, simply  take a look at the information below about various methods of supporting us. You are also able to add a donation to your basket in our online shop!

Regular Donations

Making a regular donation is simple and secure and once set up will ensure you give as you intend without any further thought. You can make regular donations to us by using the Virgin Money logo below. Virgin Money allow you to make a single or regular payment from your debit or credit card.

When making a regular donation they will take the first payment today, but you can change which day you'd like them to start collecting your regular donations on the form provided. Click the Virgin logo opposite to get started ...

Other ways to donate

Payroll Giving - Give as you Earn

You can support the Injured Jockeys Fund by making a regular contribution through your payroll. Regularly donating a fixed sum of money from your salary is simple and tax efficient as donations are deducted before you pay tax.

For example by donating £10 a month from pre-taxed income, this reduces the amount of income tax paid by £2.00 each month (or £4.00 for higher rate taxpayers). The actual cost to the donor is just £8.00 (or £6.00 for a higher rate taxpayer) while the charity gets the full £10.

Please contact your Payroll department and find out if your company offers a payroll giving scheme.

Legacy support - Why leave a gift in your Will?

The IJF relies on voluntary donations to assist injured jockeys past and present, in some cases helping them rebuild their lives after serious permanent injury. In such cases there are no financial or time limits on assistance to ensure the best possible quality of life is maintained in often very difficult circumstances.

Every legacy, no matter how big or small, will help us to make a real difference to those less fortunate jockeys and their families.

Please contact your solicitor for details on making a legacy.
