IJF Supporter Club goes Scottish

IJF Supporter Club goes Scottish

by IJF |  5 Oct 2017

The latest supporter club trip took a group of 50 members on a day trip they won’t forget, where they met the Grand National winning hero  “One For Arthur” in the flesh, plus  a day at Perth Racecourse.

The day began at Lucinda Russell’s Arlary House Stables, where tea and coffee was served, after which the group were given a private behind the scenes tour of the successful working yard and met “One For Arthur”, this year’s Grand National winner.

The second part of the day took place at Perth Racecourse where members had the opportunity to enjoy the facilities of the Lower Dewhurst Suite as their base for the afternoon. The group enjoyed luncheon prior to the first race, and watch the afternoons racing.  There was also Afternoon Tea before the final race at 5.05pm and then an exclusive chance for the Supports Club to meet some of their sporting heroes, the Jockeys in the Weighing room.
