IJF Annual Football Match raises £45,000

IJF Annual Football Match raises £45,000

by IJF |  19 Nov 2018

The Injured Jockeys Fund Annual Football Match now in its second year organised by Chris Coley and sponsored by Stonegate Homes presented a cheque to new trustee Ed Chamberlin, Vice Patron Lady Oaksey, President Sir Anthony McCoy and Chairman Brough Scott for £45,000.00 at Cheltenham on Saturday.

The annual Charity Football match at Cheltenham between AP McCoy’s XI and the Cheltenham Town legends is the brainchild of Chris Coley, business partner of Fergal O'Brien and a long-time owner in his own name and as organiser of the successful Yes No Wait Sorries syndicates, and jockey Alain Cawley, who is recently returned from the double dislocated shoulder he suffered at Kempton in the autumn.

We would like to thank Chris Coley and Stonegate Homes for their support and efforts to make the Football match possible.
