Bangor-On-Dee racecourse are hosting a charity auction in aid of Horatio's Garden and the IJF. The event will be hosted by Richard Phillips and the guest speaker is racing legend John Francome. 

The event is being organised by a committee: Rose Paterson (Chair), Sam Boyes, Nikki Brine, Olivia Chapple, Tessa Dollar, Lady Kenyon, Charles Lillis, Veronica Lillis, Jessica Scott, Victoria Sugden, Lady Trevor, John Warburton-Lee and Diane Woolley.                                                                  

A live auction of exclusive fabulous prizes can be bid for in advance.

Please email the lot number and your maximum bid to bidding closes at midnight on 29th September. 

  • Lot 1 A day or half a day of advice from renowned rose and garden expert Michael Marriott of David Austin Roses
  • Lot 2 A table for six in the Final Furlong Restaurant on Wednesday 8th May 2019, at the famous Chester May meeting
  • Lot 3 Bespoke Horatio’s Garden Guest Day at the Chelsea Flower show on members day for 2 people. To include all day tickets, champagne breakfast on the stand, guided visits to the show gardens and meeting garden designers as well as goody bags of merchandise
  • Lot 4 Lunch for two at Aintree with the Chairman on Randox Health Grand National day 6th April 2019
  • Lot 5 A week in a house in the south of France in 2019. Sleeps 10, heated pool, garden and orchard. Any month except July/August. website:
  • Lot 6 A Hospitality Box at Haydock Park for 16 people on any 2019 Raceday
  • Lot 7 A Tour of The House of Lords including Lunch for 4 people as guests of The Earl of Shrewsbury & Talbot, followed by tickets for an afternoon debate and tea with The Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP
